When you make a website in WordPress you often find yourself reusing certain part or section of the website (except header and footer) in multiple pages and even multiple websites.
Recreating the same section over and over again can be frustrating and certainly not the most effective use of time, Elementor page builder can be a real time saver here.
It gives you an option to save any section of a page or even the entire page as a template and later re-use with just a click of a button.
You can even export your template, so it can be used on another website as well.
In this short video tutorial, I’ll walk you through on how to save and use templates in elementor and even show you how to export them so you can use them in other websites too.

Hey Ananda. Quick question: once exported, can I pass the template on for use in a WordPress site that does NOT have the Elementor plugin installed? (The reason I ask is that the site in question is using Classicpress, so Elementor cannot be used with it…). Thanks for any info.
Hi Carl, Thanks for your question NO you can’t use elementor templates without elementor, it exports file in JSON format and those files can be imported through elementor only.
Hope this helps!
Excellent explanation and video. Thank you!
